I am hoping… my book keeps climbing on Authonomy. I am number four on the weekly chart as of the minute I typed this.
I am creating… a nice clean living room. It’s been too long. (An hour is too long, but that’s beside the point)
I am praying… for friends in turmoil.
Around the house… I need to make some changes. Cosmetic ones. In the dirt removal variety.
One of my favorite things… writing a new book when I’m tired of working on the old ones.

I am creating… an outfit to play with a pattern. It’s cute, but it’ll be a “prototype”. I might sell it at a discount because it doesn’t fit anyone here and has small errors that make it unable to be sold as a “quality” item.
I am praying… for wisdom and strength.
Around the house… There’s a whole lotta cleaning goin’ on.

Outside my window… the skies are clear, the wind is blowing smoke away from our valley, and they’re tearing up the road to give us a nice new one!
I am thinking… about injuries to give my character… stitches in the head? Broken arm? hit by a car?
From the learning rooms… I have all of Nolan’s assignment sheets done and I’m about to start an English Lit class myself!
I am thankful for… an abundance of things so that I can get rid of lots guilt free!
From the kitchen… I’m thinking about white tie dinner… yeah… that sounds GOOD.
I am wearing … dirty stinky clothes that will go in the laundry as soon as I take my shower! Then I’ll be wearing cropped jeans and a white blouse

I am hoping… that the dentist can help my bone issue on Friday!

Outside my window… the sun is shining, it’ s only 95 degrees, and there’s a soft breeze that makes it feel a little like fall… but just a little.

From the learning rooms… I just bought more science, need to buy more grammar, and am planning Lorna’s math.
I am thankful for… weight loss… no matter how small.
From the kitchen… we’re having pepper steak.

I am reading… Knit for Love- a book I intend to review tomorrow.
I am hoping… that I can have one thing listed in my Etsy by the end of the week. (deja vu?)
I am creating… collages for my wall and Christmas gifts for my parents.
I am praying… for women everywhere dealing with the terror that comes from domestic violence and thanking the Lord that my husband has the self-control to restrain his anger that I’m sure he feels from time to time.
Around the house… I am upping the work to include ironing. Praise the Lord for ironing!

Outside my window… the rest of the town is back to school, but I’ve decided to wait for the Tuesday after Labor Day.

I am thankful for… a wonderful husband who helps me with my crazy projects. My headboard looks so nice!
From the kitchen… Potatoes, carrots, and roast for dinner.
I am wearing … pj’s. As soon as I’m done here, I’ll get up and get dressed. Probably cropped jeans and a “This Is My Happy Face” t-shirt.
I am reading… When You Rise Up by R.C. Sproul Jr. I love to read this to encourage me before the start of a new year.
I am hoping… that I can have one thing listed in my Etsy by the end of the week.
I am creating… accessories for my bedroom. I like them!
I am praying… for success in my housekeeping workout endeavors.
Around the house… the rooms are clean the work is staying done, and I’m loving it.
One of my favorite things… Jenna. Her helpfulness, sweet attitude even when she’s less than thrilled, and beautiful smile makes the heart glad… kind of like merry medicine.
A few plans for the rest of the week… housewife workouts, school prep, Etsy design, and a blog or three.

Outside my window… the sun is shining, the wind is still, and the temperature is still fairly mild for mid-August.

I am praying… with thankfulness for all my blessings. I am so richly blessed.
Around the house… I am rearranging and doing some deep cleaning. I’m using my new steam mop too!

A few plans for the rest of the week… maybe painting the headboard, definitely sanding the pew, scrubbing some walls and touching up paint… and putting SOMETHING in Etsy this week.

Outside my window… the stars are twinkling somewhere over those clouds… the weather is cool (for August in the desert!)… and all is right in Ridgecrest.
I am thinking… that PMS at 39 is just not so fun. Determined to get a grip on self by the time I wake up tomorrow. Lord Help!
From the learning rooms… Nolan keeps badgering me for assignment sheets. I made two subjects worth!!!
I am thankful for… five thousand unedited and categorized pictures for me to sort for scrapbooking purposes.
From the kitchen… Beef Stroganoff made by Kevin. It was delightful and I could chew it. Andra, the darling child, made berry cobbler. MMMMMM
I am wearing … My favorite blue and white pj’s with the satin cuffs.
I am reading… On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness… so far, sheer torture.
I am hoping… for success in my sewing endeavors so I can help pay for my dental work! Wouldn’t that be cool!
I am creating… Christmas presents! I’ve been finding really cool ones! Oh, and grocery store bags. Braelyn will be so pleased.
I am praying… for consistency in areas I want to improve.
Around the house… I am working on reassigning homes to wandering objects, evicting things that need to move on to greener pastures, and planning my new bathroom.
One of my favorite things… Stephen’s smile. I get to see it almost every day and it never ceases to charm me.
A few plans for the rest of the week… another edited chapter of Aggie, a few more chapters in BTC, a “book signing” tomorrow at Nicoletti’s, and somehow get started on that headboard!

Outside my window… there is a ton of mess from fixing the windows and tearing off the siding. Must. Clean. Yards.
I am thinking… that it’s going to be nice to be able to sleep without my teeth tomorrow night.
From the learning rooms… Jenna found her grammar book.
I am thankful for… modern dentistry… with the exception of sandpaper stuff that makes the dentures fit better but rubs the inside of your mouth raw.
From the kitchen… I ate some rice business… I sort of chewed it. I also had a donut, but not from my own kitchen.
I am wearing … khaki crops and a black sleeveless top.
I am reading… Aggie all over again as I do the first rough edit/polish.
I am hoping… that the lethargy I have will abate soon. My brain wants me to WORK.
I am creating… adorable clothes for my girls which you can see on my Eclectivity blog.
I am praying… for wisdom in frugality without scrimpiness in order to bless my husband in paying for the permanent dentures before the comes. I want to manage to live abundantly while being frugal enough to accomplish this. Christmas might make it tough.
Around the house… I can’t see the floor for the mess. Time to call the kids in. Yep. Sure is.
One of my favorite things… blessing people. Time to learn to do it “free”.
A few plans for the rest of the week… reclaim my home and routines. Finish a few projects, edit a book, and relax a bit.

I am hoping… that I’ll be glad I’ve put myself through this torture once the teeth are in!

I am praying… for wisdom for the oral surgeon and speed to our wheels as we drive home tomorrow.
Around the house… Rob is fixing the stucco around my doors and windows! YES!
